Hello Stampers!

I have a couple of samples to show you today using the new stamp set called Touches of Texture which is in the new Stampin' Up! catalogue. If you would like a new catalogue for yourself just email me.

With the first card I have used Soft Sky, Basic Black and Whisper White Cardstock. I have then stamped the border stamp across the whole card using Soft Sky ink to make the background. With one of the other texture stamps in the set I have stamped around the edges using Stazon Black to give the speckled effect. Stamped flowers in Stazon Black ink, fussy cut the feature ones, coloured flowers in using markers, Soft Sky, Pear Pizzaz, Sahara Sand. Added some Linen Thread across the bottom and the bow using seam binding which is now a retired product. Oh and of course some bling with a few rhinestones here and there.

Here is how the inside was stamped

Now onto the next card. I have used Kraft, Basic Black and White Cardstock. Inked the white background using the border stamp again in Black Stazon, I did stamp off with this to make it slightly lighter. Stamped flowers and dragon flies which I have fussy cut. Stamped greeting which is from the stamp set Rose Wonder. The flower is cut from the Rose Garden Thinlits as is the label. Finally added a couple of Rhinstones. The striped paper banner is from retired Designer Paper, the other one is cut from Kraft cardstock.
