CTC 81 - BIRTHDAYS!

Hi Stampers!

I have made a collection of Male and Female 3 x 3 gift cards for Casing the Catty challenge #81. The theme this month is  'Birthday's'.

I find there are times when you just want to give someone a gift card rather than a larger card. I have friends that love to get hand made cards and I know they cherish them. But then you have 'other' friends that do not really appreciate the work that goes into hand made cards, these are the ones that I make a gift card for.

I have used Whisper White 12 x 12 to make the eight gift cards. For the Male themed cards I have used Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy and Smoky Slate Ink Pads and Markers. For the Female themed cards I have used Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, Pear Pizzaz and Pool Party Ink Pads and Markers.
Stamp Sets are Celebrate Today and Build a Birthday. I have used the Balloon Framelits for cutting out the balloons and banners etc. These only took me one hour to make which is a miracle! It usually takes me ages to make a card from start to finish but for some reason these came together really quickly. I must learn to do this more often.

I hope these give you some inspiration to make a collection of your own 3 x 3 Gift Cards.

Happy Stamping!

  2. What a clever idea to make gift cards for those naughty people who don't appreciate our hard work. Who wouldn't appreciate one of these cards though, they are great! Congrats on such a productive hour, I bet it was fun too.
