Season of Style Wall Art

Hello Everyone,

Well I have made another wall art project. This time I have used Season of Style Designer Paper.
My Friday night Scrapbooking Class will be making it, and I hope they like it.  This one was not as involved as the one I made using Winter Frost Speciality Paper. I had to make it slightly easier for my class and also for me otherwise I would never have finished it in time. So hope you like it, comment if you like as it is always nice to know what others think.

I have used a 12 x 12 Frame purchased from Kaiser. I have backed the pieces with a piece of 12 x 12 Whisper White Cardstock (cut down slightly, about 1/4").

When making this I have backed each piece of Designer paper, Cardstock etc with a piece of thick board, like what is in our packs of DSP. This is to reinforce the paper to make it stronger, it also builds it up a bit as well. I have also backed every piece with Foam tape, lots of it to make it nice and strong and to support each piece as well.

Supplies used in this project are as follows:

Cardstock: Season of Style DSP, Gold Foil Shets, Champagne Glimmer paper, Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Freen cardstock, Natural Composition Speciality paper, Whisper White Cardstock, Vellum Cardstock.
Stamps: Wishing You, Calm Christmas, Joyful Christmas, Santa's List, A Banner Christmas, Ornament Keepsakes, Festive Flurry
Ink: Gumball Green, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake.
Accessories: Versamark, Gold Emobssing Powder, White Embossing Powder, Window Fram Framlits #2.
Square Framelits # 4 & 5, Festive Flurry Framelits, Ornament keepsake Framelits, Expressions Thinlits.  Embossing Folders - Perfect Polka Dots, Northern Flurry, Stylish Stripes, Pretty Print, Lacy Brocade.
1" Cherry Cobbler Grosgrain Ribbon, Crumb Cake Seam Binding, Silver Ribbon. Antique Brads, Faceted buttons, Frosted Embellishments, Basic Jewels, Pearls and Rhinestones, Old Olive Simply Styled Embellishments. Dazzling Details.  Lots of 1/2" wide double sided foam adhesive tape.

Cheers,

New Product - Envelope Punch Board

I am so excited Stampin' Up! have just brought out this fantastic new product!

  • ·    It creates totally customizable envelopes in up to 66 different    sizes (not to mention a million different color and pattern options depending on the paper you want to use). Even tried and true envelope sizes will only take you moments to create!

  • ·    It's super easy to use;  It looks intimidating at first glance, but when you see that all you have to do is measure for the first punch and from there you just turn and score you'll go crazy (in a good way).

  • ·    It's small and lightweight; this makes it easy for you to take it with you for crops and craft days. It's small and light enough that you could use it while watching a soccer match, at a park, at a friend's for craft night-anywhere.

  • ·    It even has a slick scoring tool as well as a punch that lets you create rounded corners on your envelopes.

  • ·    It's easy to keep it all together; the stylus storage compartment and two punches are designed into the tool so you don't have a bunch of little pieces to keep track of (even the instructions are printed right on the tool so you won't lose them!).

  • ·    The price is terrific-especially for a tool that does so much! Only $31.95

  • ·    It will be in next year's annual catalog, so it's here to stay.

Altered Toilet Roll!

I made this gift card holder using a used toilet roll. Pretty cool eh !

From this.....

to this.......

I covered the back and front of the used roll, attached adhesive at one end to close it. You need to flatten it as much as possible using a bone folder. I then made an insert to slip inside which holds the gift card.

Products Used: Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Whisper White Cardstock, Season of Style Paper Stack, Wishing You, A Banner Christmas, Merry Little Christmas, Very Merry Tags Stamp Sets, Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Crumb Cake Ink Pads.

Create with Connie and Mary Fall Week 2 Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone,

I have been dying to use this stamp set 'Joyful Christmas', this was my chance to do something with it. I have used gold embossing powder on the image and then coloured it in with markers. I have also used some Natural Composition speciality paper and sponged it with Raspberry Ripple. I just love how the embossed elements of the paper resist the ink.

Supplies:
Early Espresso, Blushing Bride cardstock, Natural Composition Speciality Paper. Festival of Prints DSP Stack (retired).
Joyful Christmas Stamp Set
Ink: Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Early Espresso (for sponging embossed card front).
Accessories:
Antique Brad, White Gel Pen, Gold Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink Pad, Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder.

I also died some Very Vanilla Seam Binding using a Early Espresso Ink Refill.

Blushing Bride, Whisper White, Early Espresso Cardstock
Early Espresso, Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals Ink Pads
Ornament Keepsakes and Holy Night Stamp Sets

Versamark Marker, Gold Embossing Powder, Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder, Very Vanilla Seam Binding, Early Espresso Ink Refill Ornament Keepsake Sizzlits, Big Shot.
