Some More Covered Gift Boxes

I just love making these, they are so easy and look just beautiful! They make a lovely gift box for special friends and family. If you want to know how to make the flower on top of the boxes visit Kay Shar's Blog.
I did a tutorial on Crafters' Anonymous last night showing how to make these gorgeous flowers. Their easy so give it a go, all you need is the Ornament Punch from Stampin' Up!
And of course some Designer Paper, I have used Beau Chateau on these.

Summer Edition with Becky Roberts challenge June 23rd

This was the design we had to follow for the challenge.

And this is what I came up with. I had to make a card for a work colleague who is leaving, and I know she loves the beach and favourite colour is Teal Blue so I made her a card using the challenge as the design. Which is good for me as I am terrible time challenged these days, and just don't get all things done that I would like to do in a day. I made this late last night while I was waiting for Black Caviar's race to come on the TV, and she won! What a remarkable horse she is. Anyway getting back to the project at hand, I came up with this card.
Supplies: Stamp Set 'Seaside' (retired), Cardstock: Island Indigo, Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede.
I white embossed the stamping onto Whisper White, then sponged Island Indigo around the outside, and Pool Party towards the centre. I have used the Houndstooth embossing folder, Neutrals Designer Paper, Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon and Vintage Brads.

Another "Fabric" Card

After making the Festive Friday Challenge it inspired me to use up some more of my fabric stash. So I got out the retired fabric 'Sew Suite' (I think that is what it was called) and made this card.

Festive Friday Product Challenge #24

This weeks challenge is a product challenge. To use fabric on a card. As you can see I have used Deck the Halls. I so wish you could buy this by the metre, I would love to make a quilt using this fabric.
Other Supplies are:
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, Always Artichoke, Postage Stamp Punch, 1 1/4" Punch, Welcome Xmas Stamp Set, Cherry Cobbler Ink.
This certainly was a fun project as I never seem to use the fabric as I hate cutting into it. I get my Stampin' Up! fabrics out every now and then and think how gorgeous they all are, then neatly fold and put them away again!

Festive Friday Colour Challenge #21

This week is a colour challenge using Baja Breeze, Cajun Craze and Basic Gray. I have to say this was a hard challenge as they are definitely not colours I would ever use together.  I can't take full credit for the design as I got the idea from Linda Langes.
