CPC #16

Here is another card I made for this challenge. I tried to do the crackle effect on the stamped image, but after adding layer, upon layer, upon layer, I couldn't get it to crackle. Obviously I was doing something wrong. Anyway hope you like it.

  1. gorgeous winter card Deb, to get the crackle effect- pop your embossed layer in the freezer for about 10 mins ;-) works every time x, Debi x

  2. A beautiful card Deb, yep I usually do 8 or 9 layers then into freezer for a few minutes, then crack straight away. I love that stamp Deb, I bought the set just for that one stamp lol, and love it teemed with baja breeze, reminds me of an English Christmas time xx

  3. I love it! I think the layers look like ice! It's absolutely beautiful! I also like how you punched the glimmer paper. Thanks for playing along with the Creating Pretty Cards Sketch Challenge.

  4. I, too, really like this beautiful winter card. Yep, I agree sticking it in the freezer for 10 min then bending it back and forth til you get the cracking you want. Go slow. Then if you want an older vintage look, take some Distress Ink-Vintage Photo or something, and go over the cracks, pushing in on them. Then wipe the whole thing off and Voila' there you have it!
